There are 2 companies within Shine: SHINE KIDS for P4-7 and SHINE for Secondary, Students, Young Adults.
We rehearse throughout the year (except July) and stage 3 or 4 productions annually in a variety of venues across central Scotland including at our own studio theatre, The Lighthouse.
We rehearse in our purpose-built studios and arts centre, The Lighthouse, Neidpath Road, Carluke, ML8 5UF.
Our rehearsals are on Sundays (various start times) when the full company attend for a minimum of 2 hours.
We also rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 6.00pm with smaller groups and main cast. All members must be available to attend on Sundays and Tuesdays.
You should wear loose, comfortable clothing and trainers or soft dance shoes. Our Coffee Bar will be open selling a selection of hot & cold drinks, toasties, soup, sweets, and snacks. Please bring your own water bottle.
Workshops and auditions are free. If you are successful in gaining a place, all members pay an annual membership fee (£25.00 per month) and a production fee (£160.00 upfront for theatre venue productions or £90.00 for Lighthouse based productions).
