SHINE is a registered Scottish charity (SCO39906) with limited company status (SC373695). Our Board of Directors manage the operations of our organisation and report to the charity commission. We have an established Finance Team responsible for managing financial reporting processes including keeping accurate accounts. We have a wider consultation and management team of volunteer staff and members’ representatives. Members of this group represent the various teams within Shine with responsibility for all aspects of the organisation and report directly to the Board of Directors.

FROZEN JR | SCHOOL OF ROCK
Shine Kids is a theatre company for children in Primary 4-7. The company meets weekly to develop acting, singing, movement and dance skills through different drama activities and performances. The company’s most recent productions include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Children of Eden, and Cats.
FROZEN JR | SCHOOL OF ROCK
Ignite was formed in 2014, giving more young people in S1 and above opportunities to perform in their own productions and develop skills in acting, singing and dancing. The company have most recently performed in productions of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and Cats. Members of Ignite were also part of our 2022 summer production of Calamity Jane.
GREASE
Shine is a theatre company for young people in S1 and above. The company thrives on an ethos that encourages its members and volunteers to build positive relationships, develop new skills and feel empowered by creativity while preparing for a variety of performances and productions. The company’s most recent performances include The Addams Family, Children of Eden, and Bring Me To Light.
